Greetings, Vikings! We're thrilled to release our first patch since the TokenFi event. We hope you enjoyed the event and the treasure hunt as much as we did creating it, seeing your progress, and hearing your theories. This patch will officially conclude the event and return Valhalla to its “standard” state, with some new additions and significant bug fixes. Let's dive right in!
New Female clothing
The shipment of women's clothing has finally arrived! Women can now enjoy their fresh new looks and compete to become the most outstanding Viking in ferocious battles.
New character movement animations
Experience a smoother Viking adventure! We've updated the way your characters walk and run for a more natural and enjoyable journey. No more (or less) awkward movements—just better, more realistic animations to enhance your gaming experience!
Removed Event announcement
Having concluded the event, we've decided to remove the initial event announcement that players receive upon joining the Open World. However, we have kept the bulletin board on area 2 for players' to read, along with the party ship that goes around the island on the same area.
New sound effects
With the somewhat newly added double jump and dash controls, we wanted to make the gameplay more enjoyable by introducing sound effects. Go ahead and jump/dash around!
Money Emote
Along with the conclusion of the event, we are awarding special emotes to those who have completed an extra achievement. Players who have made transactions during the first 24 hours of the event launch can now find a new emote in their emote window by pressing "Y".
Increased settings accessibility
The settings menu is now accessible in open worlds, the hub, and during battles. This allows Vikings to adjust the volume of Valhalla at any point.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the release window to appear automatically when opening Daycare
- Fixed an issue that caused many texts to be display wrong
- Fixed a bug that caused the gameplay to freeze when opening the Leaderboard
Lately, we have noticed an increase in non-Valhalla specific errors popping-up. While we do appreciate the bug reports keep in mind that some of them are out of our hands.
